ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This is a hands-on, 5-week program for individuals ready to launch their career on local commercial fishing vessels in New England.

Whether you’re drawn to lobstering, scalloping, groundfishing, tuna fishing, or simply want to gain real experience working on the water, this training will equip you with the skills and confidence to find employment in the industry.

IN THIS APPRENTICESHIP YOU WILL...

Complete a 2-day USCG certified Safety/Survival and Drill Conductor Training and Vessel Stability Training

Spend four full at-sea days working alongside a mentor fisherman, gaining real-world experience to prepare you for the job
